Envision a fearless young woman who conquers all obstacles in her path to reach her goals. She is a daredevil adventurer, willing to risk it all on a moment of thrill. She only takes on challenges that improve herself or the world around her. She is a woman to admire, a force to be reckoned with.

I admire women with that kind of strength. However, God decided to create in me a softer heart, with a passion for people instead of death-defying activities. I am your average female. I cry during chick flicks and scream at spiders. There are no brave heroics in my resume. Watching the sunset over the lake with my tail-wagging companion is more my style. And curling up with a good book is my definition of a perfect day…Yet when God chose to bring me into the world, He placed a calling in me to read the pages of a bigger book…to travel the unique world that He so perfectly created!
